AHEAD OF SCHOOL; SELF DEVELOPMENT
In some countries, University students are sought out to be the solution to huge national and global problems.
It is realised that the cherished contributions of these students possess the capacity to transform and impact societies and to bring the reprieve so desperately desired in whatever unfortunate crisis encountered.
One truth however is left untold. The truth revealing the hardwork and the valuable amount of time taken by these students themselves to be able to improve self worth by continuously training and honing upon their self abilities.
Would it not be ironic If we at the nation's hallowed halls of academia geared towards the production of prime developers, the University for Development Studies, pride ourselves in being set to create new and refreshing things out of almost nothingness, but have not taken the time out to develop ourselves first. How well then would our contributions serve for the purpose they are meant to?
Another trimester of tediousness and an arduous journey awaits us soon even as we kick back and relax this vacation.
With barely a month left for school to resume, I will implore us to take it easy with the FiFa 15, the Seasonal movies and the Spanish Telemundos to actually take the time to improve upon ourselves and our capabilities.
That which we are not taught in school.
Aside from the stereotypical cooking and cleaning and car washing, Read a book out of your academic syllabus but within your chosen field.
Teach some school kids in your vicinity, who knows what new thing you'll learn from them or surprise yourself with.
Do something different geared towards self development and witness the immense transformation and enlightenment you'll achieve ahead of the school year.
My two✌ cents...!!!
Happy New Month!!!!
